What materials can My Euro Steel process?
We process multiple types of carbon steel (S235, S275, S355, P235, P265, P355, HARDOX400, HARDOX500, HARDOX600, others up on request), stainless steel (AISI 304/L/, AISI 316/L/, AISI 316Ti, AISI 307, AISI 309, AISI310), Aluminum and bronze alloys.
What availability of materials does My Euro Steel sustain?
Our partners processes large quantities of carbon steel (S235, S355, P265, HARDOX) and stainless steel (AISI 304/L/, 316/L/, 309), so these materials are most often held in stock. For more unusual grades of steel we may need more time to procure.
What is the minimum quantity I can order? Do I get a discount for larger amount?
The minimum order quantity is 1, since we are always open for new developing models. Of course when the amount is larger the fixed costs will be spread and this will surely decrease the price per unit.
Where are the parts manufactured?
Our network of manufacturers is always growing and currently our partners are located in Bulgaria and Croatia.
How can I be sure of the quality?
Our Network is carefully built by manufacturers for manufacturers so our engineers are involved in the controlling of the parts. My Euro Steel is highly responsible for the quality we ship, so in order to maintain it, we are regularly monitoring the production cycle of our partners. Of course they are all certified by ISO 9001. In case we have more than two complaints caused by the same supplier, we terminate their contract with My Euro Steel.
What are the payment terms?
With new clients My Euro Steels asks for a minimum payment of 50% in advance, to ensure the supply of raw materials. The remaining 50% is payable when we issue the loading notification.
Is our data disclosed to third parties?
The information disclosed by our customers is only available to our employees and will not be shared with third parties.
What files do I need to upload to receive a quote?
We are aware that different companies use different design software, so we process both 2D and 3D files. For cutting we need only a 2D, dxf., file, but for bending a step. (stp.) model is needed.
Other services are also easier to organize with 3D models, but 2D is also applicable.
Any tips for uploading a part?
When preparing the design, especially in dxf., please be aware of double lines, hidden lines, disconnected lines, faulty notches etc. When designing a sheet metal part for bending, it’s important to consider notches, in order to avoid collisions when bending.
We would be glad to help you fix your drawings, but this would result in prolonging the lead time and final delivery date.
Surface quality?
Whenever you purchase a part with powder coating or hot dip galvanization, the coating should be clear of stains. Please note however, that marks of loading (especially heavy parts) or fingerprints from manual labor are possible to appear.
With stainless steel we proceed very carefully, not to scratch the surface, but minimal markings are possible.
Do I receive the parts on my address, or I have to pick it up?
The parts produced for you will arrive at the address you have provided, so no, there is no need for you to pick it up from another address.
Can I arrange my own transportation?
No, currently we submit offers, only with transportation costs included.
